Ugliest word ever. It means beauty

This is a bumblebee. He's (I think a he

) absolutely gorgeous but scared the living daylights out of me!
Sorry I switched the photo; I was debating between two edits and finally chose this one

This is a lovely picture that captures the bee's quest for pollen. The colours are really nice, the violet and green work well together and the bee's yellow is the spot of colour to balance the colour range.
I think you placed the bee too central. I know sometimes it's not easy chosing the right angle, as bees are quick (and sometimes scary), maybe you could try cropping?!
The diagonal lines formed by strains make a good visual effect. Also the light touching the bee and one of the flowers creates depth. Another thing creating it, is the lovely bokeh you have in the background.
This was my opinion as an amateur photographer, please don't feel offended. Keep up the good work!
Happy Holidays!
I will share with you my thoughts on your picture.
I really like macro and i think that you did a amazing job there. I really like the effect in the focus area and aronf the whole picture because that green is really soft and gives presence to the flowers and the quallity.
You combined two colors that I particularly like : yellow and violent because they are two complementary colors that results good. - » [link]
The ligths are good too and i can see on that flower in the center diferents Light scales.
To improve in future works like that i think that you could play with diferents views like doing a contrast between the direction of the stem of the plant and the animal's trajectory.
i really enjoy this picture because i can feel a strong connection with nature
