I took this on my new Canon 5D MIII, a Lensbaby composer pro with edge 80, and some macro filters I held in front of the lens since the filters were too big to screw on. I just kinda messed with the angle until I got this effect. I honestly wasn't sure about this pic, but Nittiyh said it was fine. So if it sucks, blame him, cuz he sucks too

This is a pretty cool photo. Macro shots open up a hidden world to most people. That being said, I think the photographer ought to have gone closer to the subject. There is too much space on the left side of the photo and it does not really serve much of a purpose. If I were the photographer, I would like the viewer to look at those cool spiky projection on the tip of the stem.
Other than the composition, the colour is fine and so the lighting is good as well. I hope this feedback has been of some use to you.
